"Damn, Sophie, this shit is so good," he groaned, pumping in and out, "It's so hot and wet. Just like I like it. You like that, baby?"
"Yeah," Sophia lied, her eyes squinting tight.
"You like it when Daddy hits it like that?" He asked her again, grunting with each thrust.
"Uh huh," she said.
"I know you do, baby. I can feel how much you like it, baby!" He yelled, "Oh yeah, you like it!"
Sophia opened her eyes and looked up. She tried not to laugh at the look he had on his face. His eyes were closed and he seemed to be concentrating so hard. God, please let him hurry up, she thought. The Lord must've heard her plea because a few moments later, Gerald was sweating and pumping so fast, Sophia wondered if he was gonna have a heart attack.
"You ready to come for Daddy?" He asked, now looking down at her.
Sophia nodded and gave a seductive moan, "Yes, oh yes! You know I am. OHHHH YEAHHHHH"
"That's right baby. Come for Daddy, oh yeah, I feel that shit coming! ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!" Gerald collapsed beside her, panting as if he had run a marathon. Beads of sweat poured from his body and fell onto her body. He looked down at her and asked, "You okay?"
She nodded at him and smiled, "Yeah, sweetie."
"I know you are. You know how I like to try and blow that back out!" He grinned.
"You're right," she sighed. Maybe next time.
Thursday Morning
7:12 A.M.
"A'ight, you know I'm trying to hit the road by three o'clock, Sophie. Traffic is gonna be bad enough as it is," Gerald said, picking up his leather overnight bag and putting it on the bed.
"I know, Gerald," she sighed, "I'll be ready."
"What all do you have to do today? I know you're not going into the office," he turned and gave her a look.
Sophia looked down at the jeans and t-shirt she wore and asked, "Do I look like I'm dressed for work? I'm going to get my hair and nails done; I have to stop by the apartment and grab a couple of things I forgot to pack and then I'll be back."
"Your hair and your nails? That's gonna take all day," Gerald shook his head at her.
"No, it's not. I'll be at the salon by eight and out of there by eleven."
"That's a damn lie and you know it. Mouth all mighty ain't even gonna stop yapping long enough to get you out of there by eleven."
Sophia shook her head, "I'll be done buy eleven, Gerald."
"I tell you what, you can run late if you want to and I'ma leave your ass right here. I'm serious," he told her.
He's such an asshole, she thought as she slipped into her sneakers. She was tempted to tell him to go ahead and leave, but she knew it would start an argument.
"How are you getting your hair?"
Sophia shrugged and answered, "I thought about doing something different. It's almost summertime; maybe I'll cut some of it off. Wear it in a bob."
"Like hell," Gerald shook his head, "You better not cut your hair."
"Not all of it, Gerald," Sophia told him, "Just take some of the length off."
"I don't like short hair," he said.
"Okay, you don't have to wear it, I do," she smiled, "I'm the one who has to curl it, wrap it, go to the salon all day…"
"Stop playing with me girl," Gerald walked over and grabbed her shoulder length pony tail and said, "You can't cut it. I like it long."
Gerald's cell phone began ringing and he grabbed it off the nightstand, "Hello. Yes, Mama, I know. We're hitting the road this afternoon and we'll be there tonight. What? Mama, come on. I got too much to do. I'm not gonna have time to… I don't…but…I…yes ma'am. Love you too."
"Something wrong?" Sophia asked, seeing the look of disgust on his face.
"My little brother, Drew. His ass is flying here instead of straight to Hilton Head. His flight gets here at one this afternoon," Gerald frowned.
"What's the big deal? We got plenty of room and that means you won't have to do all the driving," Sophia began thinking that having someone else on the trip would make the long drive a little more bearable.
"His spoiled ass ain't gonna be trying to help me drive. Wait a minute," Gerald paused and then asked, "How you figure I'm gonna be doing all the driving?"
Sophia was busted, "I meant, WE wouldn't have to do all the driving, sweetie."
"Yeah, right. Man, Drew's ass is gonna throw me all of schedule. I gotta be at the barbershop at noon," Gerald shook his head, "And I hope he don't think he's riding all the way to Hilton Head for free. He better come with gas money in hand."
"You're making a big deal outta nothing," Sophia grabbed her purse, "It's your little brother. You can't charge him gas money. I'm gone. I'll call you later."
Gerald walked over and pulled her into his arms, "Remember what I said, don't cut your hair. And don't forget to bring that black dress I like so you can wear it to the rehearsal dinner; and the shoes."
"I know, Gerald. I already packed them," Sophia shook her head. He was making her even more anxious about meeting his family than she already was.
"Did you pack something extra sexy for me too?" He whispered, running his hand under her shirt and grabbing her breasts so hard that it hurt.
Sophia flinched and eased away from him, "I'm gonna be late if you don't stop."
"We got a little time, baby," Gerald reached for her but she stepped back.
"I'm gone," she kissed him quickly on the lips and walked out.
Sophia would have loved having a man bend her over and fuck her from behind. Hitting that spot just right, my breast bouncing as he pulls me by the waist as he puts that dick in, damn. But Sophia knew that Gerald hitting it from the back would be even more of a disappointment than his being on top and she wasn't in the mood to be even more sexually frustrated than she already was. It's gonna be a long weekend.
* * * * * * * * * *
"So, this is the big weekend, huh?" Jaxyn asked as she washed Sophia's hair. Jaxyn was not only Sophia's hair stylist, but she was also her cousin, best friend and self appointed relationship expert.
"Yep, this is it," Sophia answered.
"Meeting the fam. You nervous?"
"A little."
"So, I guess you've decided to make a go of this thing with Gerald, huh? Even though, let's say, he's a little less than satisfactory," Jaxyn commented.
Sophia looked up, "I hate that I tell you everything. And Gerald is a good man. He has a great job, he's smart, funny, treats me good…"
"And he's a lousy lay. Sophia, I'm just saying you know how you are and you know how you like to get your freak on. I just hope you see that meeting his family is a big step and it says a lot about where you are in the relationship. Do you really think this is gonna last?" Jaxyn placed a towel over Sophia's wet hair and sat the shampoo chair up. Sophia looked into the mirror facing them and looked at their reflection. The two women looked more like sisters, both sharing the same dark cocoa complexion, long wavy hair and video vixen build.
"He's a good man, Jax."
"He's an asshole and you know it. An asshole who can't fuck," Jaxyn told her, "You should really leave him alone."
It was no secret that Jaxyn and Gerald didn't like each other. Sophia thought it was mainly because they were just alike. Both of them had dominating personalities and smart ass mouths.
"You're sounding real crazy right about now; you know that? Why the hell would I leave him alone? I can't expect him to be perfect, Jaxyn and you know how hard it is to meet a man with those standards these days. Gerald is marriage material. I'm not gonna stop dealing with him because he can't fuck. That's dumb. Do you know how many guys I can name that had the best dick in the world but were straight up dogs?" Sophia looked at Jaxyn like she was crazy. Although some of what her cousin said was true; at thirty two, Sophia's biological clock was ticking and she was ready to settle down and have a family. Gerald's lack of skills in the bedroom was gonna be something she would have to figure out after she had that ring on her finger and his last name behind her firs
t one.
"I guess I'm tripping because you're the main one telling me not to settle for Shane and here you are settling," Jaxyn said motioning for Sophia to move to the styling station.
"That's because Shane was not up to your standards and you know it," Sophia responded. Jaxyn's ex, Shane had a minimum wage job, lived with his mother, didn't have a car, and was a straight weed-head. But Jaxyn couldn't seem to look past his good looks, street swagger and great tongue game to see any of that until Sophia pointed it out.
"He was beyond my sexual standard, that's for damn sure," Jaxyn stared into space, a dreamy look on her face, "And he had a hook."
"You're retarded," Sophia couldn't help laughing. The first time Jaxyn told her about Shane's curved dick, she didn't believe her until her cousin sent her a picture of it in a text message. She was amazed, and a bit jealous. But hook or no hook, she knew he was no good for her cousin and Sophia was relieved when their relationship ended.
"And you're settling for a man that you know can't please you in bed."
"That's just a minor detail. It'll work out," Sophia said, hoping she was convincing her cousin as much as herself.
* * * * * * * * * *
"Sophia, where are you?" Gerald shouted into the phone.
"Leaving my condo. I'm on my way," Sophia looked down at her watch and saw that it was a little after two.
"I'm not home," Gerald told her, "I'm still at the barber shop."
"Gerald, you're the main one stressing about time and you're still at the barber shop," Sophia sighed, "I could've…"
"Listen, I need for you to go to the airport and pick Drew up. He flew in on United and he should be waiting outside the terminal for you."
"What? Why didn't you…"
"Sophia, don't be difficult. I'm stressed enough as it is trying to get outta here."
"I'm not trying to be difficult, Gerald," Sophia tried not to get an attitude, "The point I'm trying to make is that I don't even know your brother. I don't know what he looks like or anything."
"Believe me; he won't be that hard to spot. Look for the weirdest looking guy out there. By the time you get him and make it to my crib, I'll be there," Gerald said, hanging up before Sophia could respond.
Thirty minutes later, Sophia turned into the airport and began searching for where Drew was supposed to be waiting for her. She slowed her car down as she approached the United Airlines sign outside the terminal.
"Is he out there?" Jaxyn asked. Sophia called her to tell her about the last minute errand Gerald had sent her on.
"I don't know what he looks like, Jax, so I don't know," Sophia scanned the small crowd of people hoping she would be able to spot him.
"Well, he's black, that's a start," Jaxyn laughed.
"Hell, it's a lot of black dudes out here," Sophia commented, still looking until her eyes fell on a tall, well built guy leaning against the wall, scrolling through an iPhone, "I think I found him."
"You sure?"
There was no mistaking that he was Gerald's younger brother, the resemblance was uncanny. He had that same, smooth butterscotch skin, strong jawbone, and deep dimple in his left cheek. The only weird thing about him was the fact that he was seemed a bit overdressed in the camel colored, three piece suit he wore, complete with a bowtie.
"I'm sure. I'll call you back," Sophia told her.
"Is he cute?" Jaxyn asked excitedly.
"I'll call you back," Sophia hung up and pulled her car in front of the guy, and rolled down the passenger window, "Drew?"
The guy looked up and nodded, "That would be me."
She unlocked the door and popped the trunk of her car, "You need help with anything?"
"Naw, I'm good," he shrugged. Their eyes met and a tingle went down Sophia's spine. She continued to stare as he gathered his belongings which seemed to consist of one suitcase and a large leather carry on. He placed the bags into her trunk and got inside. Damn, he smells great! Burberry! She waited for him to put his seatbelt on before pulling off.
"Um, I'm Sophia," she told him.
"Cool," he stared ahead and added, "Thanks for the ride."
"You're welcome," she told him, "You and Gerald look just alike."
"So I've been told," he said, his attention again focused on his iPhone.
Seeing that he wasn't interested in small talk, Sophia turned the radio up and headed to Gerald's. She was disappointed when they arrived and his car wasn't there. She called his cell phone, but didn't get an answer.
"Well, I don't know where you brother is. He said he wanted to hit the road by three," she said as she got out the car.
Drew remained silent as he got out and removed his suitcase from the trunk. She led him inside and he placed his bags in the living room.
"Which way is the bathroom?" He asked her. She hadn't realized his voice was so deep and it caught her off guard. Again, Sophia's eyes met his and the spark of electricity seemed to go through her. Ok, I'm really tripping, she thought to herself.
"Down the hall and to the right," she answered, pointing. There was something about the way he looked at her that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up.
"Thanks," he smiled as he brushed past her.
The ringing of her cell phone brought her back to reality and she answered it.
"Did you get him?" Gerald asked.
"Yeah, we're at the house. Where are you?" She nervously began fidgeting with her shirt as if Gerald walked up on her checking out his little brother.
"I gotta run by the job and tie up some loose ends."
"So, what time are we leaving?"
"We'll just leave in the morning. As long as I'm there for the bachelor party, you know I'm good," Gerald laughed.
"That shit's not funny," she told him, "So, what time will you be home?"
"I don't know. Just hang tight until I get there."
"What about your brother?" She looked up just as Drew walked into the living room.
"What about me?" Drew asked.
"Nothing, Gerald is just running a little late, that's all. And we're not leaving until in the morning," Sophia sighed.
"Don't worry, I'm a big boy. I don't need a babysitter, if that's what you're worried about," Drew said.
"Exactly my point," Gerald agreed, "Let me go take care of what I need to and we can meet downtown for dinner. I'll call you and we can decide when and where when I'm done."
Sophia sighed as she ended the call.
"If you got shit to do, it's cool," Drew told her.
"No, your brother was so adamant about our leaving this afternoon, so I made sure I was ready. We're supposed to meet him downtown for dinner in a little while."
"Guess I get to hang out with you until then?"
"Yep, you want something to eat or drink?" She offered.
"Something to drink," he shrugged.
Sophia walked into Gerald's large kitchen and opened the refrigerator. Bending down, she scanned the contents and yelled, "We got orange juice, ginger ale, water, beer."
"Water's fine."
Sophia jumped as she realized Drew was standing right behind her. He was so close that when she stood up, she brushed against his body.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she told him, passing him a bottle of water.
"My brother has a nice crib. You live here with him?" He stared at her as he opened the bottle.
"No, I have my own place," she replied.
"So you just stay here sometimes," the phrase was more like a statement than a question. Drew's eyes were no longer on her face, but on her breasts, where her nipples now protruded.
The coldness from the fridge, she tried to convince herself.
"On occasion," she nodded, folding her arms across her chest.
"Am I making you uncomfortable?" Drew now smiled.
"No, I'm fine," she smiled at him.
"I'm just asking because there's no telling what Gerald has told you about me," he leaned his body against the marble countertop of the kitchen island an
d unloosened his top button.
"He hasn't said anything about you really," Sophia shrugged, "All I know is that you're twenty-two and go to school in New York. That's about it."
"I'm sure he's said more than that. Most of the time he tells people I'm weird," Drew laughed, "So, you don't have to lie."
Sophia smiled, "He said that you were different, that's all."
"Okay, different."
Damn, he's so sexy. Even his laugh is turning me on.
"Well, what did your brother say about me?" She put her hands on her hips and asked, flirtatiously. She was beginning to enjoy herself. Drew had a swagger about him that was enticing. He was so different.
"Come on, I'm sure you know that me and Gerald aren't close. He hasn't said anything about you to me," Drew admitted, "But, I haven't talked to his ass in over a year, so why would he? I haven't talked to any of my brothers, really."
Sophia was surprised. She knew Gerald and his younger brother weren't that close, but their not talking in over a year was a bit shocking. Gerald talked to his older brothers quite often.
"Wow," she commented. Unable to resist, she asked, "Why?"
Drew took a long swallow of his water, then said, "Let's just say a situation happened that caused us to drift apart."
"Oh."
"Now from what my mother has told me, you're a very nice person."
"Really? She said that?" Sophia was glad that each time Gerald's mother had called and she answered the phone, she had been very pleasant and polite.
"Yeah, she did."
"And I'm sure you agree, right?" Sophia teased.
"I do concur," Drew nodded, "I will admit I was surprised. I didn't expect you to be…"
"Be what?"
"I didn't expect your ass to be so fine," Drew confessed. He put the almost empty bottle of water on the counter beside her.
Sophia smiled nervously, waiting for Drew to laugh. She searched his face for some sign of humor, but instead, she saw the attraction in his eyes. He bit his bottom lip and slowly walked toward her.
Move away from him, she commanded her body, but she didn't move. What the fuck are you doing? Push his ass away! Tell him to stop!
